I believe that today is one of the biggest day for HKUST MBA FT09. Our dearest friends, Wei Ling and Jon got married! They are the first couple from our batch! Congratulations!!
Wei Ling, Jon and I were assigned into a same group in our first MBA class, the Residential Program. We named it 'HENKA'. HENKA team got the 1st prize twice out of 3 presentations during RP. We thought our team is the BEST!
Since then, Wei Ling, Jon, Chris and I had a breakfast at 8:15 at LG1 or Cafe EVERY MORNING until the end of the first semester. Chris and I always talked about them that Wei Ling and Jon could be a good couple. It comes true...
So many classmates, 21 out of 76 classmates(!), attended their wedding party at the Jockey Club Clubhouse. Two classmates came from Singapore, one from South Korea and one from Taiwan! Not only we but their other friends are also diversified, totally 18 nationalities attended, actually! Thus, the wedding party was conducted in both English and Cantonese.
We celebrated their big day as well as enjoyed the re-union of FT09! We talked a lot, drank a lot and took a lot of picture! Time flies so fast. The party was finished at 3pm. My date and I went for shopping and dinner after that. Then we joined 'the After the wedding party'at Space in Wanchai at 10pm.
So many friends...more than 50 people enjoyed and celebrated today's happiest guys. We stayed there until 0am, then left. It was a great time, we left there so early.!
