Overview:
Japan and Asian culture is often referred to as "charming", or "kawaii(可愛)", by people in other parts of the world. However, not many people are aware of interesting stories, traditions, lifestyle, the values and ethics and aesthetics behind this preconceptions. This session will engage Japanese and Hong Kong designers/curators into an interactive discussion about the real charm of Japanese culture, and how we share this value among Hong Kong and other Asian countries.
